Another referral from Paragon Property for the full renovation of a rental property in a complex of 8.  Had to work with the existing layout in the very small bathroom so removal of the roman bath was a must.

“My experience with Sue Daley of INTU Property for the complete refurbishment of my investment unit was very positive from start to finish.

I was unable to be on site for the duration of the work and was therefore enormously grateful for Sue’s professional and time-generous assistance with every aspect of the job.

She showed total awareness of the issues pertaining to rental properties and came up with stylish solutions to suit. I recommend her unequivocally. ”  Robin Smith

Conversion of a laundry into a laundry/2nd bathroom. The client knew exactly the look he was after and did the painting himself to finish it off.  Utilising a 200×600 tile in a subway format for that different look.

“Sue Daley from INTU Property is fantastic. On undertaking a laundry conversion to bathroom in an old house, Sue assisted in Layout, Design and Project Management and a room that was once a blight of the house is now an asset. I never had to worry about anything, with the trust that whilst I was at work, Sue took care of all the fine details, met all trades in the morning and even returned throughout the day to let the dog out. Best of all the project was finished ahead of schedule and stress and trouble free.”

A small renovation of the kitchen and laundry. New cabinetry in laundry and overheads in kitchen with new pantry door.  The existing doors & drawer fronts were resin sprayed to match the new installation. Topped off with a new bench top and glass Splashback to complete the look.

“When embarking on my kitchen project I knew what I wanted, I had an image in my mind but I really didn’t know how I was going to go about it.  This was particularly poignant as I was not living in Perth and had limited time on each visit to get the work done.  I started the process by bringing in a number of ‘kitchen’ people to give me quotes.

Some quotes required me to purchase the hardware while they organised the tradesmen, others could do part of the work but required a large input from me in regards to organisation.  When Sue Daley walked into my home it was like a breath of fresh air.  We seemed to have a connection straight away.

Sue listened as I explained my image for the kitchen and seemed to understand exactly what I wanted.  She considered my proposal, but also offered advise on what would and wouldn’t work.  What I loved most was each time I spoke about something I.e the oven, the hob, the range hood or the sink, Sue chimed in, “I can get that for you”.

Together we came up with an agreed upon plan. I left Perth early in October with the old kitchen still in place and by the time I returned in December, I walked in to a beautiful new kitchen. I literally had not lifted a finger and it was absolutely stress free.

Sue was knowledgeable about the hardware products and was able to obtain these at a very reasonable rate.  She worked with a great team of tradesmen who were professional and hardworking and Sue herself was organised, thoughtful and hardworking.

I would have no hesitation in using Sue Daley for further projects and recommend INTU Property to anyone looking to take the worry out of their renovation.”

Full renovation of a rental property. Another referral by Paragon Property. The client lives internationally, so we kept the communication line open, so the client was aware of what was happening at all times.

“If you are considering having your property renovated, then you can totally trust Sue Daley from INTU Property Transformations to get the job done.  And do it well – professionally, responsibly, on time and on budget.  My 3:1 unit was in need of a total renovation. And as I live overseas, I required someone to take on the entire project.

It was important to me that it was done right. As it was not only a rental it was my home.  My Property Manager recommended Sue Daly from INTU Property Transformations. Sue assured me she knew exactly what I wanted, and that she would complete the renovation and have it back on the rental market before Christmas (4 weeks).

And that she did.  Her approach and management of the project really took all the angst out of it for me.  I would not hesitate on calling on Sue again to undertake future renovations.   And neither should you.  She is the Property Renovator of choice”.   Beverley O’Malley – Nevada, USA

Partial renovation of the main living area and kitchen. New window treatments, flooring, painting and kitchen door/drawer fronts. In addition, worked with the client to source new furniture for the dining & lounge areas to suit existing items.

“At my first meeting with Sue to discuss the initial scope of works I was extremely impressed with her professionalism and also her attention to listening and understanding my requests. I discussed with Sue what I was hoping to achieve with my renovation and she was able to introduce new ideas that complimented some existing furnishings that I wanted to retain, while seamlessly giving my home a completely new, modern look. Sue has the expertise and foresight to be able to understand individual client tastes by their homes and lifestyles and she easily translates that into her product recommendations.

As I work full-time it gave me great peace of mind knowing Sue was Project Managing the job as she had the ability and resources to ensure that all the necessary trades were on site at the required times and that their work was of such a high standard.
It was a pleasure to work with someone who always made me feel like none of my requests were too small to arrange and she was always happy to work around the restricted time I had for product selections.

Sue kept me informed constantly on the progress of the job and my newly renovated home was delivered to me ahead of the anticipated schedule, which as people would know is the “exception rather than the rule”. This is certainly a testament to Sue’s organisational skills and dedication to her clients. I would have no hesitation in using again in the future or recommending Sue Daley from INTU Property.”

Tasked to project manage the external hardscaping of a new dwelling, which included the installation of a pool, washed aggregate front & back, composite decking front & back and rendering of existing fence line and new brick wall to front.

“We recently completed the build on a new home and at completion were still to do our pool and landscaping works.  As both of us were working we felt we needed someone to oversee and coordinate this project to ensure it was completed in a timely manner.

We met with Sue Daley from Intu Property along with a couple of other project managers and were instantly impressed.  Sue is a warm, friendly, knowledgeable person who provided some suggestions but also listened to what our ‘vision’ was.

Promptly, Sue went about organising some quotes for us – pool, aggregate, decking and fencing.  This was all prior to officially signing her as our project manager.  She was happy to meet with contractors we suggested also.

Upon signing, Sue organised a meeting with the pool, aggregate, decking and fencing contractors to ensure we were all ‘on the same page’, with regards to how things were going to work.  A timeline was established which was important to ensure the project ran smoothly.

Once the project started, Sue was on site daily to ensure all ran smoothly, often sorting out potential problems.  She also dealt with an issue with neighbours promptly and with grace.  Sue seemed to have a really great working relationship with the contractors, regardless of whether they were ones she had brought or ones that we had contracted.  She kept us updated with text messages, photos and phone calls on a daily basis.

The project ran to schedule and we moved into our home as planned.  We are extremely happy with the finished product.  Sue continues to keep in contact with us, which is great.  We have no reservations in recommending Sue Daley and Intu Property to anyone requiring project management.” – Megan & Troy Anderson

A real estate client had this rental property that was in dire need of a makeover, so they put us in touch with the owners to discuss the renovation requirements. This unit was located in a large complex of units and had restrictive access & parking, so we worked closely with the strata managers and caretakers to ensure minimal disruption to other residents.

A 100yr old property that needed a cosmetic facelift prior to tenants moving in. During this time it was found to have major issues with the roof structure causing leaks and a ceiling cave in, so further work was done to rectify the roof structure and replace the ceiling.

Testimonial from Richard Facer – Mt Lawley

Sue completed a major renovation and repair to my house in Mount Lawley.

The major activities involved removal of roof tiles, repair of roof structure, installing a large storage space in the roof, replacement and finishing of roof tiles. This work was completed over 10 days with minimal disruption to the tenant.

Sue also managed the painting, general repair and replacement of appliances inside the house.

The work was complex in nature and required coordination with all trades, the tenant and the real estate agent.

Her knowledge and connection with experienced and reliable trades meant the work was completed on time and within the agreed budget.

I can recommend Sue as an excellent Project manager for complex, time critical renovation projects.

Glengary (PM) – The council of owners wanted to get the unit block painted, but were struggling to get a unanimous vote on colours. This had been going on for almost five years without a result. I presented a colour board to the council of owners, with photos of the property transposed showing what the property would look like once painted.

This resulted in a unanimous vote and the project was a go ahead. Quotes were obtained and the job completed in record time.

Before and after photos below.
